TOUR ON BIJAGÓS ISLANDS Rubane

lenght: about 1 week
time: nov - june

The blue of the sea and the green of vegetation. Beaches, birds, turtles, marine hippos, culture.

The most well known tour of Guinea Bissau, includes a visit to the island of Bubaque and the farthest islands from the mainland, which are the most beautiful and uncontaminated.
The departure can be from Bissau or Quinhamel.

The recommended stay for the tour is about a week.
Even with fewer days, the visit can be interesting, although obviously more limited.
If you stop longer you can enjoy the islands better and even add moments of relaxation in over-worldly beaches.

If your trip falls during the carnival week, make sure to spend at least one day in Bubaque during the parades (for events dates see the CARNIVAL page).
